DESCRIPTION

Nilkamal Brahma Central Library of Kokrajhar Govt. College is fully automated library that has implemented a library automation system, which uses computer and RFID technology to manage library operations and services such as circulations, acquisitions, serial control and other functions using SOUL (Version 2.0) Integrated Library Management Software (ILMS). Patrons can search for and access library resources using online catalogs and databases through OPAC and Web OPAC. Patrons can check out and returns materials using self issue/ return system or at circulation desks, and access electronic resources such as e-books, e-journals and online databases such as N-LIST, DELNET, Institutional Repository Software i.e., DSpace and other digital databases from multiple computer terminals or digital library.

• To grow reading habits among the students, faculties, and office staff.
• To serve society by providing books and free access to the library resources for enhancement of knowledge.
• Upgradation of the library with modern facilities, equipment and software.
